Our starter lineup
- Spring Rolls — crisp vegetable rolls with a sweet chili dip; the lightest option on the list.
- Pork Pot Stickers — pan-seared, served with black vinegar; our most-ordered starter.
- Crab Rangoon — cream cheese and crab in a fried wonton shell, always a table favorite.
- Scallion Pancake — layered, pan-fried flatbread; a good vegetarian starter.
- Salt & Pepper Wings — double-fried and tossed in five-spice salt, on the spicier end.
- Edamame — steamed and salted, a simple palate-cleanser between richer dishes.
- Cold Sesame Noodles — chilled noodles in a sesame-peanut sauce, closer to a light appetizer than a full dish.
How many to order
As a rule of thumb, order one starter for every two people at the table if you're also ordering full entrees. For a lighter, grazing-style meal, two starters per person works well when mixed with a soup and a shared vegetable dish.
Pairing suggestions
Pot stickers and hot and sour soup make a reliable opening pair. If you want a lighter start before a rich entree like cashew chicken, spring rolls or edamame keep things from feeling too heavy by the time the mains arrive.
